The victim of sexual harassment may experience some of the following:shock, headaches, stomach aches,disturbed eating or sleeping patterns, nightmares, difficulties in concentrating,restlessness, withdrawing from people and relationships,being easily upset or irritable, loss of sexual desire or pleasure, avoiding certain places where the recipient may see the perpetrator, guilt, self-blame, embarrassment,shame, humiliation, anxiety, fear, anger, denial, self-doubt,confusion, loss of trust, loss of self-esteem and/or confidence, loss of memory, feeling stressed, feeling anxious,depression and feeling suicidal

Effects of Sexual Harassment at Work

Increased absenteeism, sick leave and resignations. Decrease in work performance, motivation and job satisfaction.
